About the event
Join Clean Energy NH for an in-depth exploration of the opportunities and challenges involved in building community-scale solar projects in New Hampshire. As momentum grows for clean, local energy, this event brings together developers, municipal leaders, landowners, and regulators to better understand the complex regulatory landscape and how to navigate it effectively.
Drawing on the experience of solar developers, conservation organizations, and community stakeholders, we’ll walk through every key stage of project development—from utility interconnection and local zoning to state-level permitting and environmental considerations. Together, we’ll examine best practices for aligning clean energy expansion with land use priorities and ecological stewardship.
Panelists include:
Carl Nowiszewski, Manager, Distributed Energy Resources, Eversource CT and NH
Barbara Richter, Executive Director, NH Association of Conservation Commissions
